Just purchased a used s60 need some advice
Hi folks, my first post here..... I just purchased a 2002 s60 awd with a 140,000 miles on it.... I love this car and I know they have issues but I have faith in the car, so..... Here we go, the dash cluster only works intermittently, and when it goes out nothing works at all in the cluster, and then when it wants to, it comes to life..... The key fob that I was given with the car does not work, tried replacing the battery to no avail..... And the sunroof doesn't work at all...... And lastly I have a vibration that is only present when I'm applying the throttle at highway speeds, let off the throttle and no vibration.... Any tips or help with these issues would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance!!!

hey, i have a 06 s60 and i was feeling vibrations when in high rpms or on fwy, started off intermittent then got worse. after a few weeks it started vibrating while braking to then id let off and it was fine. turned out my front axles were shott. paid almost $2,000 for new oem axles. (which i took to a volvo specialist) used or aftermarket are alot cheaper but ive heard bad things. goodluck to you

You might want to put a location in your profile.
If you're in the US, you can take the keyless entry transmitter to an Oreilly or Autozone and have it tested to see if it's sending a signal. That would narrow it down to the transmitter or something with the car or it needed to be programmed.
