Hello. Im new here. Im looking for someone near Houston Tx to do a huge favor and go look at s60r and tell me what kinda shape it in before i do and buy. Im in Lake Placid NY so not possible for me to do it. This is where the car is.

Would the seller be willing to take it to a Volvo dealership for an inspection?

 

Its not a private seller it a use car dealership

 

Most used car dealerships will let you do pre-purchase inspections. It looks like the Volvo dealership is pretty far, but there is a Meineke and some Euro car care center across the street. If you pay for the inspection, I don't see why they wouldn't take it over there for an inspection. Or you could have Lemon Squad come out and perform the inspection. Or ask if they already have a recent inspection report that you can review.

 

Thats what its looking like what im going to have to do. They don't have any service records for and the car facts isn't showing to much about it. Im just a little apprehensive about buying a s60r with 101k miles and not knowing if timing belt water pump and other major things have been replaced yet
