Hey guys I just picked up a 2004 s60r with 60k miles...I'm lovingn the car, the only thing I was wanting to change, was increasing the sound in the cabin of the turbo and of the dump of the waste gate...

The car is stock except for a k&n drop in filted and coldair dam down by the fog light..

Is there any cheap way to get more turbo sound without spending a ton of money?? I heard removing the cover on the intake, and also the hood insolation would help the sound....is this true??

 

Yes that us true. You'll hear the Turbo spooling but hearing the bypass valve better will Depend on if you have a 6M or an auto.
When yo want to spend a little more money, you can also get a forge HD CBV from ViVA, an AMS from iPd and a lower intake pipe from SNABB. All that really makes the sounds of the Turbo come to life.
