Question Map Sensor?????

hello....I recently purchased a 2003 s60 to replace my 97 960 wagon, I have a question I have on several occassions had the check engine light come on and the code was for a map sensor....I called the dealer today and they tell me that my car does not have a map sensor and that they thought it was the fuel pressure sensor...I have 2 questions please:
1) could this check engine light have come on because i put gas in my car and did not tighten the cap properly???? 2) could it in fact be what the dealship is telling me and it be a fuel pressure sensor and not a map sensor?? I can tell you this that last time I cleared the code it did not come on again till today and I had just put gas in my car last night?? I am puzzled as my 97 960 did not have all the bells and whistles that the s60 has so any and all input would be apprecaited!!! Thank----> Carlton

Does anybody kno where d fuel pressure sensor is on S60s? I think there's a MAP sensor on these cars and it's the sensor by the fan shroud (did I spell it right)

I had a code pulled today on my s60, it was the MAP sensor along with a intake code and a cat code. I think they all start with the MAP sensor. I cannot seem to locate it on the engine so I joined here in hopes of some added light.

This is what the MAP Sensor looks like http://www.ipdusa.com/Volvo-S60/Engi...-394-395-5199/
and it looks like its only on 2000-02 S60
and this is the Fuel pressure sensor http://www.ipdusa.com/Volvo-S60/Engi...-394-395-5044/ The Fuel Pressure Sensor is located on the Left end of the fuel rail at least with a Pic you know what you are looking for.GL
There is also a recall on this for some owners http://www.lemonauto.com/complaints/volvo/s60.htm

Thanks for the input as well. I am sending my car to the dealership this Mon. They believe it is the ETM that needs to replaced. They are also going to replace my fuel-pump due to these recalls. Glad I looked on here before allowing friendly mechanic Joe to work on my car.
