Default My 01 S60 spun a rod bearing

When I pulled the rod cap there was no bearing in it. It had rolled up and welded itself to the other half. The rod bolts were hand tight. Anyone know of a machine shop in Houston where I can get the crank checked and turned? Momentum Volvo said the oil pressure was low due to sludge in the oil pan. They had put the pan back on and were running some type of flush through it when I told them to leave it alone. There recommendation was to change the oil every 1000 miles until it cleaned itself up. I'll post a pic tomorrow of the oil pan that they "cleaned". I can't believe that they actually test drove the car. The car has about 100k on it. I have used Mobil 1 in it since new. I didn't see any sludge but there was more varnish than I was expecting from a synthetic oil.
