Default Both key fobs stopped transmitting

Newbie in Bangkok needs help with key fobs not working.

Hi Guys,.. I’m looking forward to learning more about the community. I got my first Volvo ever, a 2014, 1.6liter, 4- pot turbo. I’m really enjoying it.

So I was swapping out some interior LEDs and accidentally blew a fuse. Not thinking, I pulled # 12 from the small fuse box under the glove box to test out the new bulbs. After putting it back, the car doesn’t see EITHER of the keys. If I put a key in the slot it will start, but it won’t lock or unlock the doors at all.

Does anyone know what’s going on? What should I do?

TIA

Tyson

Change the remote battery, if it starts the car then it recognizes the key. You can even plug in a scanner and the computer will tell you which key is in the car.
