Default RE: need help

I thought I'd wait for someone with alot of mechanical experience to post first, but seeing how it's been a few days I'll give my 2 cents worth (we'll see how wrong I am later). Let's look at this logically: the cooling system consists of the radiator, upper and lower hoses, the water pump, and the internal cooling passages within the engine block.A simple visual inspection with the car running would tell you if a hose was leaking or the water pump gasket was shot. If this were the case, it would also mean there is a leak somewhere near the exhaust manifold. The other case is that head gasket is bad. This may be more likely. Any case, I would look at a different car. If you were a mechanic, which it sounds like you aren't, I'd say take it. If you have a good friend who isI would say take it. But I would stay away if I were you. Anyone agree?
