Hey everybody,

I just bought a beautiful 2002 s60 2.4 non turbo automatic, and I was wondering if anyone could help me find some horsepower/torque gains. I am looking for a list of parts with the gains, or a good search topic.

Every time I do a search all that shows up is turbo modifications. I might put a turbo in her one of these days, but for now I am looking for bolt on's. I am not looking to drag race just more power.

Ok well there isn't much really for you.

1. Intake K&N panel filter is the best bet and or a K&N cone filter on the end of your MAF. Youw ill gain nothing but possibly 3hp.

2. Exhaust, 2.25" to 2.5" piping with a Magnaflow muffler on the end, you might gain 10hp at the most.

3. Nitrous, be careful. You can and will blow your engine if used in the wrong manner and using too high of a shot.

4. You could try a N/A ECU upgrade, it might give you 20Hp, but I doubt it. Check into RICA, Upsolute and Speed Tuning USA for other possible ECU upgrade. Speed Tuning if they have one for you, will be the cheapest, then Upsolute, then RICA being very exspensive.

All depends how much u want to spend. The ECU ugrade would give u the most power since u dont have a turbo. Theres a list of aftermarket companies in the general forum, but Ive had great dealings with Evolve.
