Does anyone know where to get a cheaper or used oil pan for a 2011 S60 T6? Whoever was changing the oil before I had the car cross threaded the drain plug. The garage had to find a suitable bolt to put in the drain since the new one and original one would not stay in.

 

You can try a volvo friendly recycle yard (search car-part.com) like Erie-VoVo but I wouldnt go used. I'd go OEM since the last thing you want is another leak due to a bad fitting part. Tasca Parts is a dealer web store with the best prices I've found - start there to get the factory part number and a baseline OEM price then google around (Amazon, eBay included). Volvo friendly stores like FCP Euro, IPD USA, even Rock Auto also list replacement oil pans. Just read up on how to remove and reseal the pan (ie using an anaerobic sealer) and gasket kit if you plan on doing the work yourself. Probably some vids on Youtube.

 

What would you think about using one of these? Not me, but the mechanic that I go to.
