So I was having lunch in my car today listening to the radio. The low voltage message popped up so I started my car to get the juice running. Then the car showed the red flag warning and my temperature was steadily moving to the red with a message saying engine overheating or something. I immediately shut the car off and waited. I tried it again and the temperature gauge didn't move much past origin and ran normally after that episode. I was wondering if anyone had an idea of why this happened.

 

Thermostat might be going bad.
