popping noise

My 06 S60 has been making a popping noises in the front end while going slow, usually under 20 miles per hour when slowing down to a stop sign or stop light. It has been back to the dealer twice and they could not "duplicate" the problem both times. I even went for a drive with the mechanic and no noise was heard. They checked the entire suspension system (front and rear) , stabilizer links, spring seats, control arms, etc. Everything was retorqued and is fine per the dealer. What else could it be? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

The noise is heard once the car is warmed up, about 20 minutes (10-12 miles) of driving but will happen on smooth pavement as well as over multiple bumps. Once the suspension gets unsettled (over bumpy roads) the noise is more pronounced but it isn't isolated to when going over a large bump or speed bump. The sound is heard from both sides equally. I read another post where it said the struts could not be working properly and the noise could be coming from them? I also read that there was an early problem on the s80 with body bushings/ mounts, could it be something like this on the s60?
Any ideas to point the dealer in the right direction would be great.
Thanks
