Default Probably a stupid question? Part Identification.

This has got me feeling a little, how do you say....stupid. Can anybody tell me what part this is? All I know is it has something to do with the vacuum assist brakes because it keeps coming apart and I loose power brakes and the car starts idling real bad, since there is a massive vacuum leak. It is a link between the hose that runs underneath the air-box, another to the intake pipe, and another right into the intake manifold. I just need to know the name of the part so I can get it replaced.

Thanks, I was able to fix it with a little 2 part epoxy but I think I will order a new one just in case.

I would strongly urge you to order a new one as it does deal with your brake booster, as there is no such thing as a stupid questions.....the only stupid questions are the ones that are never asked!!!!! just remember we were all once newbies and it is a learning experience, so the only way you will learn is to ask...don't be afraid to ask us for our helpp!!!! that is what this forum is all about! good luck.....PATSFN2

Smile What does the ejector do?

How does the ejector work?

How does one troubleshoot it?

Does it somehow make vacuum?

Seems to be connected to either side of the throttle body and to the vacuum line to the vacuum pump and brake booster.

Thanks
