Default Part Identification

Hi,

I have a 98 v70 T5. When replacing the air pump I noticed some sort of vaccum assisted part mounted to the bottom of the battery tray. can anyone tell me what it is?

Second. there is a part that is mounted to the inner fender in the engine compartment beside the passenger side hood lock. It is bolted to the inner fender and seems to have an o-ring on one end and wiring on the other. The o-ring side is not connected to anything but the wire side is connected. What is this?

Thanks for you help,
Gino

1st That is the cruise control pump under the battery tray.

2nd That would be a Barometric pressure sensors. The o-ring side is not supposed to be attached to anything. It gets the Air from the engine Compartment.
