Default Quick DIM Question

So I tore out my DIM cause it was going crazy blinking and what not. The online mavens had posted a guide. Three things happened after I reflow soldered the Motorola chip:
1) The DIM wasn't going crazy anymore.
2) The SRS airbag warning was on (cause I didn't unplug the battery).
3) The backlights behind the odometer and clock were out, but the rest were fine.

2) can any OBDII reset that or do I have to take it to the dealer?
3) Are the bulbs out or are some pins on the motorola chip crossed?

Thanks in advance for the help!

The SRS light has to be reset by a special scanner.

No idea what's going on with the lights.

thanks for the reply.

I determined that the back lights were out by moving some good ones to the burnt ones. I can't get the bulb out of the plastic holder. Is there a methodology for doing this? I used pliers with no luck. Also where can you buy these for cheap and are there good LED options?

@ES6T The bulbs are not part of the socket. They do in fact come out. I used pliers to pull them out. The first bulb broke on me and gave me a nasty cut, but the second one I pulled out very slowly and it slid out with no problems. They are called the T5 bulbs and I replaced them with LEDs. The color was a bit off but I put them behind the info area where I don't have to look at it very often. So its all fixed now!

You can get them out, but at the dealer they are sold as part of the socket. Unless I'm thinking of a different bulb.

F.Y.I. these are mini wedge bulbs and they do come out. The DIM uses 1.2, 2 and 3 Watt bulbs depending on the socket colour (black, gray blue). You can get them at any electronic store. I used 1.2 Watt for my fuel gauge and speedo.
Have you cleared your SRS-Airbag msg? I also resoldered the Motorola chip and the SRS error comes back as soon as I clear it.
