hi there all i have a 2001 s60 saloon with 80k on the clocks, i have a knocking noise coming from the rear that i canot diagnose, it sounds like a anti roll bar noise but i have replaces the outer links, there is no play in the inner ones and i cant find any play in any other bush. i have had the car up on a four poster ramp and checked this.

So, does anyone have any ideas or have experianced any problems like this, any help would be much appreciated as its driving me mad.

I have seen a bunch of bad shocks cause a noise like that.
Remove the rear shock and drive the car and see if the noise is gone.
