I have the same problem as a lot of guys that have either changed rims or tire on there S60 and i am looking for what spacer size to use to stop this rubbing? I am running 17" rims with a +48mm offset .Is a 5mm spacer to small to help this problem?If yes am i going to see any issues useing a 15+mm-25mm spacer even if i use longer lug bolts?

 

I had some slight rubbing with 17" Pegs at almost/full lock. I just installed some 5mm spacers today and it sounds like my rubbing issues are corrected. I wanted to go with the minimum to reduce alignment issues. The rub was occurring on the inside front of the fender well at about the 10:00 position with Eibach springs.

 

Instead of buying spacers unscrew the steering stops in the control arms. Then put 2 washers behind the stop on each screw on each side that should stop the rubbing.
