The center console door / lid is broken. Is this an easy task to repair / replace? Does anyone have illustrations that show how to replace the door / lid?
Based on the S60 that I looked at, about 75% or these doors are broken.

 

Yes it is common for them to break.
I have fixed a few of them depending on how bad they are.

Sorry no pics but you will have to remove the center console to replace it or remove it.

 

A small screw can be drilled into the cupholders pivot points, if this is where the break occured. Look at it and you will see what I mean.

 

I have the same problem. Is there any place besides the dealer for this kind of part?
If just one side of the lid broke, is it fixable? thanks
