My apologies if this has been posted before but my "searches" didn't reveal anything.
I have a 2006 S60 with the HU-650 radio. The speakers stopped working but the lights still illuminate including the stations, just no sound. I bought a used certified radio from LKQ but still the problem exists. Read where it was the amp and that the amp was located under the passenger seat. Ordered an amp, removed the seat and no amp under the passenger seat. Oh dang, now what?
Suggestions appreciated as I'm at my wits end.

Having the same issue on my car. It has the HU-650 which doesn't have an amp. Any ideas? No sound at all. Radio turns on and lights up.

 

Mine was doing the same. By the way the HU-650's have an internal amp. Nothing to find under the seat. My issue was my bluetooth that was connected to the radio went bad so it prohibited the sound from the radio. I disconnected the bluetooth and the radio worked-Simple fix. Hope this helps.
