Hi,

I just bought a used 02 S60T about a month ago from the volvo dealer. Last week i noticed a low/deep humming? sound when i reach about 30mph. If i let off the gas at 30mph, its pretty noticeable, but still not very loud.

Any idea's? Should the S60 be almost silent from outside noise while driving around 30mph? It sounds like its coming from the driver front side wheel well. Also it seems to make more noise when i turn left, than right... Should i have the dealer look at it?

 

Yes have them look at it most likely a bad wheel bearing.
