hi can antone tell me what this code means(po-2178&2192) i just had top end rebulid 100 mi ago what is bank-1 ?

 

2178 is "too rich at idle" and 2192 is "too rich at higher load". bank 1 refers to a specific side of the engine. on an inline 5 cylinder, there is only one bank. a "v" shaped engine would have a bank 1 and 2. it sounds like you have maybe a leaky injector or maybe bad oxygen sensors. how does it run? it could be any number of things...actually when i re-read your post i wonder if it could be a valve issue, they are very tricky especially if they did or did not machine the head.

 

well i found it!(the problem was the intercooler had a crack in the plastic side
