Hello all,

I just bought a new 2007 S60R yesterday and while driving it home I was presented with a notification in the message center that read "Check stop lamp". We then noticed that our brake lights were stuck on all the time. When I would stop to get gas all the brake lights were on an they would not shut off. When I finally arrived home last night I noticed just the top window brake lamp staying on. It is off this morning so I think it went out during the night. I won't be able to get the car to the dealer until tomorrow but I wondered if anyone else has encountered this problem and would have a quick fix suggestion if it exists.

Probably a faulty brake light switch on the brake pedal. No easy fix. Switch needs replacement. Welcome to Volvo. You have 4 years or 50,000miles to get out alive (sell before warranty expires!).
