I have an 03 S60. I have been getting poor mileage suddenly and want to know if this could be related to the loss of my skid plate under the engine bay. Also, my right low beam is out. The piece that the bulb plugs into has become brittle and crumbled and repair shops keep telling 400 plus on parts. Is there an easier or cheaper way? Im tired of re-taping this thing all the time. I appreciate your help. Thanks.

 

1.Not related to skid plate. When was last tune up?
2.Just the end that plugs into the bulb is bad? Or the wiring as well? You can buy a replacement harness.
