Steering column lock and spring problem
Have a 2001 S60 Volvo. Recently took it in for a driver’s side airbag recall. A few days after the repair the steering wheel was intermittently difficult to turn. It was diagnosed as having to replace the steering column because of a problem with the lock and spring. Was it a coincidence that the lock and spring broke after the airbag recall service, or could it have been as a result of the airbag service?
