Hello all. I have a 2.0T T5 and I was driving down the road when I heard a loud, deep pop. All of a sudden the sound from what I first thought was my exhaust sounded deep and 'boy racer' type. Basically like I had put a large muffler on my car. No warning lights came on nor did the engine temp gauge move. What could the issue be? I drove the car home which I was about 15 minutes away from.

The sound is deep and definitely does not sound right. There is no smoke coming up.

Car has done 116000KM.

Very upset by this issue. Any ideas?
