Default strut mounts

bought a 2007 S60 recently
Seller said front strut mounts need to be replaced. Any idea how much that might cost?
Also can any mechanic can do that or do I have to go to a volvo mechanic?
Thanks

Three cost all depends on where you go. Any mechanic can do it as long as they have a spring compressor

youtube is your friend... Review a video or two and you will understand better and/or be prepared to tackle it yourself.

If quick struts are available, you wouldn't even need a spring compressor.

Agreed, but I haven't been able to find them for Volvo's anywhere I look. Do you know for a fact they can be had?

Usually you can get about anything from Rock Auto but after checking, they don't carry a quick strut so I'm guessing it's not available.
