Stuttering Startup
Hi there.
I recently bought a S60 2007. It has 71000KMs. I've had the car for about a month. A couple of times over the period, I've had trouble starting the car. It sounds like it is choking or stuttering a little bit when I turn the ignition before starting up. Now, this only happens at night when it is colder and when I leave work. I'm thinking it might be the battery. Another thing is, the last time this happened...the RPMS immediately went to 1000 where usually it needs 20 secs of idling to do that.

Battery is a good start also i would check the Alternator/Belt.This may cause the battery to not get a full charge and when the car sits hard start. When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? This happen to me when i first bought my car original filter was shot giving me a hard start but once the car was running all was fine.Took dealer 3 trips to find it.
