Hi All---I have a 2003 S60 2.4T and a few weeks ago the text message window had started to go do weird things. After I first turned the car on, I was able to read the information on the screen for about 5 minutes. But after the car had been running for five minutes, the screen would go blank. The LED screen light was still lit, however, it would not display any information. And now today, when I started the car, the information on the screen started crashing during the first five minutes and then the screen went blank. But the LED screen light still stays lit. When I say 'crashing', I am referring to the letters and numbers. They started taking on different forms. Can anyone offer and advice how to solve this issue???? Thanks in advance---Rick

 

There should be a fuse in the fuse panel for the DIM try removing it and leaving it out for 5 minutes or so. Then install it and see what happens.
