Throttle Position Sensor replacement
So I purchased my S60 knowing there was a TPS code and knew the cost of the part. I did not think the locate the TPS when making my decision, DOH! I have done a fair amount of research and it seems like the best option is removing the change tube and fan assembly to get to the TPS. Is there any easy method that I am missing?
Standard disclaimer, I did search this sight prior to posting so if I missed a thread or 12 please forgive me.
Thanks,
David
btw car is in my sig and currently has 207,xxx miles on it

I really don't think you need to remove the fan. I've got the '04 turbo version and I was able to easily reach in from the airbox side underneath the intake manifold just by removing a few vacuum hoses and the pipe going to the ETB. You do have to remove the 4 bolts blind but that's not a big deal just go by feel. Just remember the orientation of the TB before you take it out. I put mine in the wrong way around and my engine didn't appreciate it.
