Default timing belt

Hi guys, my second post here. I have a 2001 S60 2.4(non turbo) with 143,000km on it. I was wondering when i should change the timing belt on it?

Default RE: timing belt

Right about now or maybe even sooner....My belt was cracked and worse for wear at 78000 miles or about 125000 kilometers. I also replaced the tensioner and the idler pulley. Both had bad bearings. Water pump I left because I was lazy but probably should have been done as well. If you dothe workyourself it will take a few hours and a few hundred $$$$ in parts. FCP is a great place onlineto get the parts and they shipped to Canada no problems.

Just had mine changed at 80,099 miles. There was no way I was going to go as long as the Volvo recommendation.
