Tires, Brakes, alignment repairs/replacement
Hi,
I am needing to take my Volvo in for some basic repairs. I need to get new front brakes and four new tires before the winter. Do you know how much these generally cost for a 2004 S60? I am in Chicago, if that helps. I also think the alignment is off, but I am hoping that my extended warranty will cover that. I bought my car certified pre-owned. Do you know if the warranty covers things like alignment?
Thanks again

I just put Toyo Prxies IV on after looking around a bit. I got them for about $170 a piece(they are 17" tires), and had the alignment done at the tire shop.($49) I really like the tires. I do not believe that alignment is covered under any warranty, as I believe it is considered normal wear and tear. Also had the front brakes done for about $100...but they were able to resurface the rotors. If you need new ones, that coud drive the price up quite a bit.I am in the northeast, so I can not help geographically there, but under no circumstances go to the dealer for tires.
