too much oil? will this give the no pressure warning

Default too much oil? will this give the no pressure warning

just noticed that i had a bit too much oil in the car, will this give me the no oil pressure warning or is it my oil pan oil seals, just asking as the message doesnt come on as often as it did before.

I will bet the o-rings are bad.

Let's just sayit was the o-rings, is that then a misleading message the car is giving or is that a valid message and a serious issue with the car?

The light coming on is usually due to low oil pressure. If the o-ring is bad it causes low oil pressure.

will driving with this message on damage the engine, all response is there and no turbo issues at all, car feels ok, so is it ok to drive till i can get it looked at, sounds expensive and i need it for a 2 hundred mile journey next week for holidays,

If the oil pressure is actually ok then ok to drive. But if the oil pressure is actually low no good to drive.
