took it to my local shop... said he couldnt do anything about it and it would have to go into the dealer. He thinks it is a software problem. I have a feeling that this car has never had a single software upgrade. How much do they typically cost? How long do they take?

It is supposed to be 1 hour labor and $30.00 for the software. That is for one.

thanks for all your help tech, now we will get to the fun stuff this summer! (speedtuning ECU, EuroSport ultra flo intake, Eurosport girll, an exhaust and down pipe, evolve lowering springs, and new tires. I can't do it all but the ECU and intake def, and then whatever i can afford after that.)
