Yes its 100% the same just re-branded Mobil 3309 witch is Volvo 3309 witch is Toyota T-IV Your all good.Just keep a good Eye on how much you flush 2qts and put the 2 new down the Trany dip stick. The lowwer Tanys hose is a little tough to remove but i promise it comes out.Squeeze the Green clip and Pull. You can also use the Upper Rad port Drivers side just use the Radiator port not the Hose to connect IPD hose to.

As MYS6T said it is the exact same fluid, just cheaper. The clip on mine was tough to remove. I had to use a tool as a lever to disconnect it. I did the flush from the upper connector, much easier to access. I used 14qts to get to a clean red ATF. The IPD hose fit tight enough inside the radiator side of the connector not to have to attach it during the flushing process.

It won't damage your tranny. It will prolong it's service life. The dealer says not to replace atf but if u don't it's gonna be toast soon. Have u had the stop neutral function of your tranny disabled. I read that it's one of the prob. on MY 01-02s

That function puts the tranny in neutral when you make a full stop to save on gas but they have been malfunctioning. Go to matthewsvolvosite and check out the thread on these 01-02 MY trannies. They also mentioned a broblem with the B4 servo cover. Check out the site cause I can't explain it in detail.

My trans blew out i think a month and a half after doing the flush. It went like it was in neutral last wednsday. You put it in reverse or drive it doenst move. After towing it to my house yesterday i noticed that the car move if u put it in reverse or drive not as it used to but it moves could these be related to the stop neitral function you mention. I didnt got any message on the message box and the Check engine light is not lit. sou it doesnt have any codes...

How's the fluid level and appearance now and how much fluid did you flush with? Also, when you did the flush, did you start by doing a drain and fill, or did you just flush it?

I opted to do 5 consecutive (over the span of a few weeks) drain-and-fills instead of a flush on an '02 S60 with 140k miles when I got it a few months ago. The first few times I pulled the plug, which has a magnet inside, there was a fine metallic crud attached to it that I was able to clean off each time.

It is possible some crud remaining got gummied-up your valve body. Perhaps if you exchange some more fluid, drive some more, and reset adaptives (as I have heard others mention), your car will continue on just fine with just this one past hiccup.

As far as the stop neutral feature, if you feel a jerk when starting from a stop, you likely still have it enabled, but even though I did not feel a jerk and it felt smooth with my car when I got, to be sure, I opted to have a Volvo dealership determine whether I was running the latest version of the software. Even though it turned out I was running the latest software, the reassurance was well the cost of having them check.

The fluid is red it doesnt smell burnt it is full, I did flush with the car on take out 2 quarts and put 2 new quarts through the dipstick of the trance till it went red.. Ran great i would say better, then this happen. . When it startted happening when I hit a stop and accelerate again the car did fill like a jerk only accelerating then shifted fine, then it started doing downshifting and then went blank like it was on neutral..
