Hi guys

Our 2001 S60 T5 tranny blew apart and needed replacing. go the car back but now the steering wheel buttons don't work and the air bag light is on.

Anything besides an exterior plug we should be looking for?

If this helps... when we got it back the first time, the tilt wheel wouldn't go all the way down and there was a clicking noise when you turned the steering wheel in the lower settings.

The trans shop probably disconnected the rack from the steering column when removing the subframe. When they did this, they didn't put something to hold the steering wheel so the contact reel, which is what makes electrical connections for the airbag and buttons, broke.
