Hey guys so I have a 2004 Volvo S60R 2.5T with a 6 speed manual transmission, just finished replacing the front CV axles and went to top off the trans fluid but can't seem to find a dipstick or anything. I've seen in other forums that talk about "Aisin" transmissions that are sealed, however i do not know the specifics of the one that I have. Also I've called the dealership and they couldn't 100% tell me whether or not it is sealed. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Chances are it is not sealed. You have to look way down in the front of the engine, and it should be a yellow dipstick.

 

as a manual, its more likely to have a fill plug on the side of the casing and a drain on the bottom.

 

My mistake, forgot it was a manual.
