upgrade questions!

Default upgrade questions!

should i buy a VMS performance engine for my 2001 volvo s60? I have a non turbo car. would it be better to build what i got?

1. No you should not get a VMS engine. I wouldn't buy anything from that company. I don't care what they sell and others don't. They have proven to be a horrible company. Check out their reputation on Volvospeed. Trust me when I say you don't want to deal with this company.

2. Do you have the money to upgrade your current setup? I ask this because to upgrade a N/A to a stock turbo status is expensive.

3. In all honesty it has been said a billion times all over the different Volvo based forums SELL YOUR N/A & BUY A TURBO MODEL. Yes it is true, it will be cheaper in the long run to sell your N/A and to buy a turbo model and mod from there on out.

It is a complete was of money to mod an NA Volvo. Even if you do every mod you can, short of putting a turbo on her, you will not hit the power of a base turbo car. Start with a T5 and mod from there.
