Okay this is going to sound weird but I am a "switch" guy. What I mean by this is when I buy a new car I want it to have all the switches. (bells and whistles). I noticed on my S60 that there seems to be room for more switches than I have. My question is... what am I missing?

Here is a picture of my console showing what I have... can anyone tell me what is missing and how I can add those switches (options) to my S60? (excuse the messy console... )

 

the console in my V70 is pretty much the same. can't say if the exclusionas are the same but i can tell you how mine is different.
Under the dimister buttons are the front seat heaters. additional buttons in the bottom row include a lock for the rear windows so the kids or dog can't open the windows and a button to retract the wing mirrors.

As to how to add these options after market, i have no idea...

 

Same as my 2003 2.4T. I think in the car manual there is a diagram that shows the other buttons. Didn't seem like any of them applied to the S60, or at least any that I was salivating over!

 

Your missing the Volvo On Call, Heated front seats, 4-6 Disc Changer along with premium sound, IAQS....other than that, looks good.

 

And the gaping hole to the left can be a phone or a stupid cupholder.

 

I suppose the Volvo on Call isn't important to me. Neither is the 6 Disc CD Changer. I would like to have heated front seats. I miss that from my last car. (the only thing i miss). IAQS is the interior air quality system, no?

Can the heated seats and IAQS be added? How would one go about that?

Thank you for the replies. As for the stereo I would love to upgrade to a 7" widescreen Alpine or Clarion system some day, but for now my FM Modulated IPOD works great. I'd hate to loose my steering wheel controls!
