I just bought a 2016 S60 T5 Inscription Platinum with exactly 50, 050 miles on it. Obviously babied, and driven almost exclusively in town. I love it, except for one thing. It has the 19" wheels with R50 tires. I don't particularly like the ride, with recommended 38 psi. They corner fine, but as soon as the road gets the least bit rough, the ride is harsh. Not enough clearance to go to a much higher profile. I am thinking of switching to 18" wheels, but would like some input from the group before doing it. btw just took my first longish trip, and, yes, you can get almost 40 mpg. I got 38.5, driving somewhat aggressively, fair amount of elevation gain (~10,000' in 750 miles). My timing was perfect, bought the car two weeks before gas went up $1 per gallon. I anticipated it....Not!
