Has anyone done any drag racing? Just curious to see what you ran, stock or modified.

I think factory a T5 is about a 6.5 0-60 and 15 flat in the quarter. Sound right?

I'd love an article from Motor Trend/ Car & Driver / etc. with comparos/reviews and stuff like that from 1997-2000. Does anyone have any of those year magazines with our cars in them? It would be awesome to see how they stacked up against the competition. I LOVE having things like that for my cars. . . always have for my others.

I know there was an old video of the S70 GLT vs. Buick Regal GS and a loaded Sable lol it was fun to watch.

 

I have a bone stock 97 850 t5, took it to the track right after I got it, best run was a 15.8. Track was horrible (PBIR).

I needed to complete stage 0 at the time so these times are **** poor. Even my air filter is the 13 year old paper type.

FWIW I was neck to neck with a modded up the *** 2000 prelude 5mt. We ran four times together and were neck-neck the whole time.

ipd has times on their site. I ran a 15.3 in E mode in my R. I just forgot to change the button to S.
