Default 130k mile service on 98 non turbo

I just got a 98 s70 non-turbo and it has 128,xxx miles on it. I wanna do the 130,000 mile service now.

A few things i thought of doing were:

Timing Belt
Changing all the fliters
Changing the Brake Fluid
The PCV
Tune up (plugs and wires)

Anything I'm missing here? I'm semi-new to volvos so any help would be awesome! Any and all input would be helpful. Thanks!!

Adam

Looks like you have most of it covered.

Should I have the radiator flushed or anything else flushed?

Thanks for all the help. Definitely a great resource!

Usually the coolant gets changed every 30K so if it looks old I would change it.

timing belt: change the tensioner and idler pulley as well. You can also change the water pump if you wanted to since it's exposed anway.

Serpentine belt: it has to come off to get to the timing belt, change it out and put in new tensioner and idler pulley while you are in there.

Thermostat: if you were going to change out coolant, then you should put a new Thermostat in as well with a new temp sensor.

Do a drain and fill on the transmission. If it's a 98 it takes standard dexronIII or equiv/Mercon. 3.5 quarts comes out.

My point is that if you don't know the history and are a new owner, you almost have to get back to ground zero on the car. Why replace just a timing belt, when the car has 130K and the tensioner is original? Same with Serpentine belt?
Do the complete repair and then you won't have to do it again for years.

If you do the belts, I'd suggest replacing the water pump too. Oh, and also pay attention to if you have a manual or hydraulic tensioner. If you don't have the hydraulic one already, GET IT!!! It will make future tune-ups/what-not much easier.
