Hey guys, I am about to do a minor tune up in S70,what would u recommend me to change.

any help is appreciated thanks.

 

I might not give you exactly what you want to hear though but I will let you know what might have to be done.
1.Plugs
2.Oil and filter
3.Air filter
4.Fuel filter
Also look at the ignition wires good.There should be a date stamped on them. it will be in either yellow or white writing. If they are original I would replace them as well as the dist. cap and rotor.

 

With a minor tune-up what are we talking about budget wise?

Is your s70 turboed or is it NA?

I refer you to the General Volvo section of this forum. In there you will see a PINNED thread titled VolvoForum Resources Thread. Within that thread that is a subject called STAGE ZERO. This is basic maintainence items that should be done. Especially if your going to be upgrading your car later on. But they are good regular maintainence items as well.

 

There will not be any upgrade,i like the car as it is, just basic tune up for a NON-T with 125,000 miles,budget wise around $200.00,I have already change filter air() and oil last week.
