Default 1999 S70 engine shutsdown

Having a problem with engine just dying out when I am driving. Engine will restart after a while. The problem has been occuring when the weather is damp or raining. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum.

This could be anything. Fuel pump or filter, anti theft immobilizer, electrical intermitence, sensors. Do you have a check engine light on?

Has the ETM recall software been done yet?

Hey Tech, I need an opinion from you on recall 155 (throttle module program). My local dealer did this recall without my permission last year. I have an IPD reflashed ECU in the car and Service Manager knew it (a real jerk!). He claimed the re-programming of the throttle module done by this recall has no affect on the ECU. Many posters on Swedespeed have told me otherwise and that I should get the ECU re-flashed by IPD. In all honesty I haven't noticed a decrease in performance since the recall was performed. What do you think?
