Exclamation 2000 Volvo S70 Acceleration Problems

So recently, my grandparents purchased a 2000 S70 non-turbo for me as my first car. It is a one, now two, owner car with 116,xxx miles on it. When you first turn on the car and start to accelerate it seems to hesitate a bit. It seems like you need to press down on the pedal at least half way down for it to start going. When you press down on it about half way the rpm goes up a bit and it takes like 1-2 seconds before it starts speeding up. I went to an auto store and got some codes pulled (P0500 and P0327) so I dont know if they have anything to do with it. Is there anything I can do to fix it, or any ideas of what is wrong? Could it be that it sat around too long with the previous owner?

The P0500 might definitely have something to do with it, that code is for speed sensor A. Another thing to check is the throttle cable and if necessary take the slack out.

P0327: Knock sensor 1 circuit low input (Bank1)

Is there anything else going on with the dash? Any flashing arrow?

When was the car last tuned up? Spark plugs, PCV system replacement, etc?

FYI: no throttle cable on this car; ETM instead (which could be the issue).
