Default AC flashing lights

Hi all,

I noticed that when I first start my car up that the A/C off button and the recirc flash orange for a few seconds before stopping. A/C seems to be working fine. Anyone ever experienced this?

Thank you

That means that the Ac unit control has stored (fault) codes. Pull the codes and that will tell you the fault ( or weak link) in your AC system

How do I pull the A/C codes? I recently had to see why the check engine light was on but it was unrelated to the A/C.

You need to find someone with a scanner to read the A/C codes. It might be as simple as the interior temp sensor fan being seized. It is located on the dash to the right of the steering wheel. You will see like little vents by the switches on the dash. Using a flashlight look in there and turn the key on. See if the little fan inside starts spinning when the key is turned on. If it does not you can try cleaning it with some compressed air.
