Default Air Leak?

So for about the past month, I have been getting an MAF code on and off. But I don't think my MAF is bad. When I'm driving, even the slightest bit of acceleration will make a pretty noticeable "hissing" noise coming from the engine. I noticed that there is no clamp on the hose that comes from the MAF. Is there supposed to be? The volvo shop wants to charge me $80 just to find where the leak is, and I don't want to pay that right now. I'll put a pic up if it helps.

Yes, pic would always help; and yes, there should be a clamp there. Is this a turbo? Can you tell where the hissing is coming from? What's the exact code?

see where the cable tie is holding on the ipd tcv? (volvo installed it) i'm thinkin there should be some kind of clamp there, its pretty loose. i hope the pics help. as for listening to where the sound is, i can't really tell.

and it is a turbo. i don't remember the code, it was p011- but i looked it up at the time and it was an MAF code.

Yes that should have a clamp. Check around for other vacuum leaks.

Have hood open and someone standing there (assistant) and do a converter stall test briefly and see (hear) for noises.

well the clamp fixed it for the most part - we'll see if the CEL comes back. i can still hear a little leaking but its definitely better than before. i'll try looking for more leaks soon.

thanks!
