Alarm Activation noise?
Dunno about in the US, but here in the UK the alarm makes no noise when being operated.
Anyone know if there's a (perhaps software operated) way of adding or switching on a 'cheep-cheep' noise to the alarm activation/deactivation? My central locking is so quiet that I can't hear it. I know that the indicators flash, but in bright sunlight I can miss those too.
I'd be happy with a wiring mod if anyone knows the ouput pin on the alarm which supplies the indicator flash signal, 'cos with a diode I can add something that way too.

Hi Martin and welcome to the site.
Alarms do NOT chirp in the US either. I personally dispise them because they attract attention and I'm tired of hearing them all hours of the night in the apartment complex I live in. My apartment is close to the lot and I can hear people fart amoung other things. Sorry but you'll get no chirp help from me.
