Hi,

I have a S70, 1999, all of a sudden today my car started to shiver when I am put it on D or R but I cant feel it shiver when its running. I cannot get an answer and wanted to consultbefore I took it to a mechanic. Please do help. Thanks

 

Are all the engine mounts good? What RPM is it idling at?

 

I was going to say the same.
If it's otherwise running well, lookfor a broken upper torque mount or a lower enginemount, (or both).

AGAIN, for the umpteenth time, you guys MUST postyour mileage

 

My upper one broke and it shivered at idle it drive and reverse too.

That was his first post, I don't think he quite got the "post your mileage" thingy". You too, just joined this forum a month ago. Do you think you are still on Swedespeed? Please don't have a false sense of self importance that you have on there.

And furthermore, what does mileage have to do with this problem? The problem will be the same whether 20K to 200K.
