My 1998 Volvo S70 started stalling today at every stop. It runs when it's in motion or if I keep the engine reving, and when I try to start, it has to be when I rev the engine or the car shuts off within seconds. Any help in this matter, would be much appercited.

 

Open up your intake, the large intake hose/tube right before the throttle body check for oil in it - clogged PCV System can cause this. Also check you Idle control valve. It may need to be cleaned also.

 

I had a simular problem. I had a vacuum hose loose on the throttle body. The hose had a hole in it.
