Car Wont Start 1999 S70 AWD
My car ran perfectly fine yesterday and then I turned it off for the day because I didn't need it again till 12:45am today...
So I go out to my car this morning and it wont start. The idiot lights would come out and some would the dash lights. I noticed my clock at gone back to 12:00 when it should have said 12:45-12:49 depending on how fast I got to my car.
I don't think I heard anything turning over so could it just be a dead battery that needs jumped to get started? I tried several times to get it started no luck.
It's not even that cold out here yet. With night time lows getting into the 40's right now.

So I am thinking...
If my idiot lights and dash lights and dome lights and power locks all worked. Then the battery should be good, right? So with that said, would the possible options be Alternator or Starter?

Ok so we jumped the car and that worked!
The battery said it was from 2003. So a six year old battery. I think I got good life out of that one.
Put in a new battery today, see how that works.
