Default Changing Engine

And I sure would like to have someone be my friend and adviser as I go through the process. I am working with a 1998 S70 . Have picked up a used engine w/123K and good comp. Before we even start I have two issues.

1.The engine is listed as from a V7O but everything seems to indicate it will fit.

2. I believe that the air pump is different, in that it has a gismo located on the firewall side of engine with tubing coming out of the exhaust manifold whereas this is not present on broken engine. Different ECM ? Will adjustments become obvious when I get into it? Will I need to change the ECM?

Hopefully I can get this under way in short order and find some knowledge here.

The motor should fit fine.

Use your parts from your car only. Don't use those parts from the new engine.
As long as you use your parts like that you will not need to change anything.
